Group Gymnastics

Flip for Function strives to provide opportunities for all children to participate in recreational gymnastics and to have fun through movement. We offer both adaptive and inclusion gymnastics classes as a way to meet each child where they are & ensure they have the support needed to thrive. Our adaptive classes provide higher levels of adult support for children learning how to participate in movement based group classes. Our inclusion gymnastics classes offer children a welcoming environment to engage with peers while progressively building new gymnastics skills

Adaptive Gymnastics Classes:

Adaptive gymnastics classes are tailored sessions designed to accommodate children with specific needs or challenges. In these classes, you can expect:

  • A smaller adult to student ratio (1:2-3)

  • Slower pace of activities

  • Focus on task engagement, participation, and attention

  • Explore movement through gymnastics and play

Inclusive Gymnastics Classes:

Inclusion gymnastics classes are welcoming environments where children of all abilities participate together. In these classes, you can expect:

  • Larger adult to student ratio (1:4-5)

  • Encouragement for social participation

  • More linear gymnastics skill progressions

All of the classes listed below, with the exception of My Grown-Up and Me, are offered as adaptive or inclusive classes. Provided for each class are age groups and requirements to help you choose which would be the most beneficial for your kiddo!

Our inclusion and adaptive classes operate using similar principles to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for all our kiddos. The main difference in these classes is the level of support provided.
