Our therapeutic and inclusive gymnastics camp welcomes campers of all abilities. Camp consists of: circle times to help foster social interaction; group games to encourage parallel play and imitation of motor movements; obstacle courses to help develop balance, coordination, and body awareness; sensory breaks to facilitate self regulation, and free play in the sensory gym to provide an unstructured, play based opportunity for social interaction and sensory input.
*Please NOTE: In the CAMP environment, we do not have the ability to provide constant, direct 1:1 support for safety and appropriate behaviors. We do provide a small 1:2/3/4 ratio and understand sensory challenges, big feelings, meltdowns and occasional behaviors occur and that is okay and we are equipped to support them. If your child needs constant 1:1 support and redirection for safe behaviors (pushing/hitting/biting others, throwing large equipment, any behavior with the potential to harm others, etc.), you will be asked to send 1:1 support for them. If you register without 1:1 support and Flip for Function management deems that there is a safety risk for your child and other children, Flip for Function reserves the right to not allow camp participation without the support of an outside 1:1 helper.
